Title: Case Studies for Managing Complex, Integrated Projects in Today's Nuclear Renaissance
Speakers: Bruce Rarig, PE, PMP, Jeff Joyce and Kara Prentice
Abstract: Geographical boundaries, multiple time zones, cultural differences, language barriers and virtual teams... Project managers leading complex, integrated projects routinely face many of these challenges and more.
Westinghouse Electric Company, a global organization and leading provider of fuel, services, technology, plant design, and equipment for the commercial nuclear electric power industry is experiencing significant growth in response to the resurgence of nuclear power as a viable energy source.
Nearly 50 percent of the nuclear power plants in operation worldwide, and nearly 60 percent in the United States, are based on Westinghouse technology. The greater than 10,000 employees of Westinghouse Electric Company continue to pioneer value-added engineering and services that create success for utilities in their increasingly demanding markets.
Join us for the June 12th Financial SIG session where three Westinghouse project managers will share Case Studies for Managing Complex, Integrated Projects and their experiences leading project teams through today's nuclear renaissance.
